Crafts

So i have spent YEARS trying to stay away from the crafting community. I hate craft fairs. I remember going to girls camp and whining because we had to do crafts. I am not a crafty, creative person.

I have decided that it's because I am too scared. I am too scared to do sewing machine projects and anything else crafty. So maybe I should get over it and try. So now I in order to start I need some equiptment. I have a Bernie (my sewing machine). It's my moms old Bernina sewing machine and it's olive green and I love Bernie. Nov. 23. The Dr. in Afton, Wy.

I am truly thankful for the Dr. in Afton who did the scopey thingy on my dads lungs this morning. And thankful he does not have cancer. He has some other problems but at least it's not cancer. WHOOO HOOOOO!

Nov. 22. Extra Shifts

Many of you know by now that Jeff works in car sales. Well winter months are the crappier months for pay because who wants to go look for a car when it's sooo cold outside. So I work at Melaleuca in the call center and I also watch kids during the day.

Well the last couple of days I have been able to get some extra shifts to make some extra money. I have been trying to do them on Jeff's day off which is hard sometimes but I have been able to pick up 3 this month so far and one for next month!

Nov. 21. Early Church

I just have one thing to say about having church from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. NAP TIME! I am thankful that for the past year we have been able to have naptime after church.

And even better is the fact that we go to 11 to 2 church so we can sleep in and have naps! Yeah!

Nov. 20. Fire!!!!!!!

Today I am thankful for fire. We have 2 fireplaces in our house. One upstairs and one downstairs. We have decided to use those to heat our house this winter. I do have to say that I do have my furnace on but it's set at 65 degrees. I don't want my kids to freeze during the night!

So we bought and stacked 2 cords of wood to use. I think I have used the furnace twice so far. Mainly because I was at work and didn't want the babysitter to have to worry about it.

We use the one upstairs. That is where the kids bedrooms are and where we generally are in the house. It is also where the kitchen and the family room are. And it warms the whole upstairs and partially the down.

I'm not worried about the downstairs because that is where Jeff and I sleep and I like it cold. So I am thankful for fire and fireplaces and hopefully being able to afford our gas bill this month by useing them!

Nov., 19th. Garrett

I love being a mom most days. There are times though when I think my kids are going to be the death of me.

Garrett always cracks me up with this little antics. He is one of the most expressive kids I have ever seen.

His latest thing is helping me clean. I can't get out the broom or vacuum without him being right there! He even gets mad at me when I take it away from him!. he is hilarious!

He also has a variety of nick names. There is goobers, scoobert, gar-bear, stinker butt! He is such a joy and mostly brings smiles to my face. and yes just mostly because sometimes he terrorizes his big brother!
