Dyllon on Parade

We are lucky enough to have a National Guard Recruiter living next door. It lets us get involved in things like this. Dyllon and Jeff were able to ride on the National Guard fire truck. Dyllon loved it all. Well at least most of it. If you picture the truck like a face there is a giant water gun where the nose would be. ( I thought I would describe it since you can't see it). This thing holds 100,000 gallons of water. They would periodically spray the crowds as they went along. When this would happen Dyllon and Jeff would get misted from the spray and he didn't like it so Jeff would have to cover him with his arms. But other than that he was in heaven.
This is how Garrett spent his day at the parade. Ironically, this is exactly how Dyllon spent his first day. Granted he was wired afterwards. Maybe it was the cotton candy.

That night we have a BBQ in the neighbors driveway and then did fireworks. Of course I stopped in Alpine on my way back from Pinedale to get the good stuff because Idaho doesn't allow any that go off of the ground. We had a blast.
