I just realized that I know nothing about everybodies husbands besides their names. Yes, I know more about Ernie and Jacob but not really the Jacob in the last 8 years. I would like to hear about these men in your lives starting with some background, how you met, what you guys are doing now, and maybe in the future. I know that some of you know more that others, but me, I don't even know much about Erin's hubby. So if you would like, blog your hubby. I will start.
My hubby's name if Jeffrey Andrew Gibbons. He was born in Reno but unfortunatly grew up in Napa Valley, CA. At least that is how he puts it. He grew up a CA boy. One major event that happened to him is that he fell off a waterslide. Now before you start laughing, let me explain. His senior class went to a water park for their trip. Every year each class clogs the waterslide. This means that half way down the slide someone stops and then the person behind them stops and so on and so on. Well, the slide broke pretty close to the top. Thirty-three students fell 40 feet onto concrete breaking various parts of their body. One girl died in the fall. Jeff broke his back, punctured a lung, and a couple of other things. This ruined his dream of becoming a firefighter.
Now we move on. He was engaged to a girl before me. I am okay with that. Thankfully it didn't work out. He went to school at BYU-I and that is where I met him. He was my FHE brother and I didn't like him at first. I thought he was a spoiled brat. He liked me because I wasn't a wussy girly-girl. I met him in July. Anyway, we dated, I met his folks. I parents let me go to Reno with him for a week after I had only known him for 1 1/2 months. Can you believe it. MY parents. We started to get serious, and I told him that if he proposed on Valentines Day I would say no. We were married on June 6, 2002. D-Day.
He is now a salesman for Teton Toyota and loves it. His bosses are the best and he gets along with them great. He goes hunting with his boss a couple of times a year. Mostly for elk.
The future part we are uncertain of. We know that we will be moving to IF in the next year or so to be closer to his job. As for kids, 2 is enough right now. Especially with having 3 dogs. Big dogs at that. Any questions?
Hope to hear about some other significant others. Love ya all.
