Day 9. Don't remember much.

Last night and this morning were such long and stressful times I don't remember much about yesterday which was day 9 so I will just tell you about it.

This morning at about 1 am I awoke to the sound of Drip, Drip, Drip. I went to investigate and saw that water was leaking from the ceiling in the basement. So i went upstairs and saw that the toilet up there was overflowing causing it to leak downstairs. So I grabbed towels to mop some of the water up before attempting to fix the potty.

I went and got the plunger and it broke. Thats just my luck. So I called the neighbor and thankfully he answered so we borrowed theirs. Got the potty fixed. Yea!!!!. Finished cleaning and went back to bed.

Woke up at 7 a.m. and looked at my thermostat. It was 61 degrees in my house. I turned up the heat to see if the furnace would turn on. NOPE!. Well I take that back. it turned on there was just no warm air. Apparently the water had doused the pilot light in the furnace. So my hubby used to work HVAC but he was gone hunting so I started to haul wood into the house at 7 this morning. It was a whopping -7 outside.

Of course that wasn't my last problem. I went to do some laundry and the spin cycle on my washer decided to do a crappy job so I had to take out the wet clothes and split them into two separate loead and spin them again. Needless to say I call up my mom and asked her is I could come live with here. I mean. Really what else can go wrong!

Day 8. Taking craig to the orthodontist.

Today we took cousin Craig to the orthodontist to get his top braces put on. The boys and I ran a few errands and then went back to wait. They had fun toys for the boys to play with.

Day 7. Making caramels.

I spent the day making caramels because I am trying to make some exta money. I put sign up sheets at Jeff's work for cookies, caramels, and caramel corn. It hasn't done the best but I have got a few sign ups.

Day 6. A new pet.

This is our new pet. It's a hamster although we just say it's a mouse. It's name changes every 5 minutes. The kids love it but then get sick of it after about 10 min. so I guess it's a good thing that it's not real.

Day 5. Like most days.

'This is what it's like most days at Traci's house. Dyllon loves to watch his cousin Craig play xbox. He also loves to play it himself. It scares me how good at the games my 4 year old is.

Day 4. Day after Surgery

My sister has been the best during this whole thing. She has had Dyllon for the past two nights and days. So my youngest is so stubborn we ended up spending the night at the hospital because he wouldn't drink anything. Finally at about 10 a.m. Traci came to visit and of course. He drinks and eats for her. So we made it home. So much better to be home. He is doing good. He is napping but I will need to wake him. NOT looking forward to that.

Day 3. The day of Garrett's surgery.

This is my excuse for slacking. I was stuck all day and all night at the hospital with Garrett. He had two tubes replaced, and his tonisils and adnoids out. Apparently we chose right with the tonsils and adnoids because they were huge and nasty. This is the look he gave me after we dressed him in the hospital gown. Happy isn't he?
